Middledorpf’s retractor, Fig. 1-3
Middledorpf retractor
The Middeldorf Retractor has different uses within the maxillofacial surgery area. For example, the instrument is ideal to perform careful retractions of the tongue. This allows surgeons to visualize the operating site.
In addition, maxillofacial surgeons can insert the blade underneath the mucoperiosteal folds for their further mobilization. As a result, the deeper tissues inside the oral cavity can be seen.
The retractor has a blunt design and, moreover, it is available in different blade sizes. The length and width might vary from 15x17cm to 60x70cm.
All our Middeldorf Retractors are available in surgical grade stainless steel.
- Atraumatic Fenestrated Blade For Maximum Exposure.
- Multiple Blade Sizes For Retracting Small & Large Tissues.
- Ergonomic Teardrop Handle For Superior Control.
